Fall and Poetry Season

So often, we tend to take life for granted and never stop to meditate of
what we have truly received or experienced which we were able to use as
stepping stones leading us to the person we become. Sometimes we get so
wrapped up in memories of our past that we find ourselves hiding from the true person we really are.
At some point many learn that moving forward is the best thing we can do to keep our feet moving in a direction helping us to establish new and better memories which will drown past memories which at one point held us back. Stepping Stones – one at a time. Living each today for a better tomorrow.

Stepping Stones Under My Feet

Did you ever walk on a path?
Where your feet did not feel secure?
Every move left you feeling unsure?
Your balance is slightly off?
Under your feet the ground feels soft?

Kind of compares to what our lives may
At times be like,
Little trials, small ups and downs
Problems all around leaving you feeling
Like to problems there is no end in sight.

Well, this is how life can be
Take each day as they come
A good day, a bad day or a mixture of both
One minute we may be laughing the next
Minute we lose sight of hope.

Does life leave you confused?
And you can’t seem to think?
One minute you feel your path is solid
Next moment you’re tottering on the brink
You feel your feet beginning to sink.

You start to pass these thoughts around
You are on a merry-go-round
Keep focused where you want your paths to lead
Positive vibes among your inner strengths will keep you on a solid path and will help you to succeed.
